This Classroom type has a Projector and provisions for connecting a Laptop, and a VCR.

Turning the Projector ON & OFF
To use the room equipment, we must first turn on the projector. It is turned on by simply Pressing the On button on the projector control panel. To turn it Off. Press and hold down the Off button for 3-seconds, till the message "Please Wait A Little" pops up at the bottom of the screen. The projector will shutdown within a few minutes.

* Don't forget to shutdown the projector when done.

 

Connecting and using a Laptop
To connect your Laptop to the system;

· Connect your Laptop VGA output to the cable labeled PC.
· Connect the Audio cable to your Laptop Audio output if you want sound.
· Select RGB1.
· Press the specific function keys on your laptop to route the video output to the port, otherwise your Laptop video will remain displayed on your monitor and not through the projector.

* Note:  If you want to access the Internet through your laptop during your class, you will need to have a network card in your Laptop, and you will need to have it's network settings re-configured for Network & Internet access. Please let me know a few weeks ahead of time if you need to do this so that we can make the appropriate arrangements. 

 

Connecting and using a VCR
Do the following to Connect a VCR for Video Presentations:

· Plug the VCR power into the power outlet.
· Connect the Video and Audio Cables found inside the cabinet to the VCR Video and Audio Outputs.
· Press the power on button and insert the tape and press Play on the unit.
· Press the Video button on the control panel to display the video through the projector.
· Adjust the audio level through your VCR's volume control.
