How to setup the Boyden-100 classroom equipment for a laptop presentation.

 * Note: There is no computer in this classroom now. It will in the future. For now you must bring in your own Laptop to do this.

      1.)    Open the black cabinet with the keys provided.

2.)    Turn system power on by pressing the Power button on the middle, rack mounted unit.

3.)    With the keys provided, open the top drawers at the lab table and take out the cables for laptop Hookup

4.)    Connect the VGA cables to laptop then on to the box under the table. * Note: that the cable will only hookup one way.

5.)    Take the Projector remote control from the door of the black cabinet.

6.)    Point it to the projector mounted at the ceiling in the middle of the room and press the green on button. The projector should slowly turn on.

7.)    Press the RGB1 button on the remote control to enable projection of your laptop screen. * Note: Depending on your Laptop, you may have to press a function key sequence to re-direct your display out to the projector. Most Laptops use "function & F8"

8.)    When done, Press and hold down the "OFF" button on the remote control for about 3 seconds to power down the projector.

9.)    Disconnect cables and put them away. Put away the remote control, turn off the main power and lock up the cabinet.
